About Us

Parmeshwaram Research and Development Foundation (PRDF) is a non-profit organisation based in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, that works across the state. Established in 2024, PRDF was formed with a commitment to building a more just, inclusive, and equitable society where communities play a central role in shaping their own development.

At PRDF, we believe that meaningful change begins at the grassroots. Our work is rooted in the lived realities, knowledge, and strengths of marginalised communities. We focus on strengthening livelihoods, promoting gender equality, enhancing climate resilience, advancing child rights, and supporting access to social welfare and essential services. Through these efforts, we aim to create pathways for dignity, security, and sustainable growth.

Our approach is community-led and participatory. We work closely with women, youth, informal workers, tribal communities, and other marginalised groups to build collective leadership, strengthen local institutions, and encourage inclusive decision-making. By valuing local knowledge and encouraging active participation, we support communities in identifying challenges and shaping solutions that are relevant and sustainable.

PRDF’s work is guided by values of equity, dignity, transparency, and social responsibility. We believe that development must be people-centred, environmentally conscious, and rooted in long-term engagement rather than short-term interventions.
